Wow.. another contest... I love it!. I definitely want to see 'The Proposal' with Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. My Stepmum watched it and said it was hilarious. Also, I definitely know my kids want to see Ice Age 3 and also the new Harry Potter.

I also want to see 'My Sister's Keeper' with Cameron Diaz although it didn't get a good review.

My family and I started off our summer with a road trip to Wisconsin to pick our 11 year old Ceara.  It was quiete the eventful trip with a 5 year old and a 2 year old.  All in all the trip was very nice.  We picked up Ceara one day early, which was really nice.  It had been a whole year since we have seen her.  Our first stop was to stop in Michigan to visit my family.  We have a ton of things planned this summer for all the kids.  Our summers are usually packed every weekend since we feel we have to jam all our fun into 8 weeks.  We have an Orlando trip planned in mid July.  Of course Ceara's half birthday to celebrate as well.  We plan on going to the snow day/ice skating event in Oldsmar, which I found on here.  My kids are so excited to see the upcoming Ice Age movie too.

What is everyone else have planned?

Looking forward to meeting you Michelle at the snow day. It should be a lot of fun. We are actually going on vacation on July 12th for a week. We have rented a house at Lake, Lure in North Carolina.....10 hours drive....aaahhhhhh!!. The furthest we have driven is 5 hours to St. George Island so we will see how it goes, 3 kids and our little dog.

We keep saying we'll go to the movies, but never end up there.  The last movie I watched in the theater was Up, thanks to MomslikeMe,but I can't even remember the last one before that.

Went to Transformers Revenge of the Fallen this weekend. It was great, not as good as the first but still very good. But i did have some adult humor and a lot of violence so I would say you should pay attention to the PG-13 rating.

This is something that really bothers me. Transformers is based on the Hasbro toys that kids of 13 years old don't even play with (heck, I think they lose thier wow factor for kids at about 11). So why do they make these movies so violent and profanity laced and sexual that kids in the toys target demographic shouldn't even watch them?!?! Becuase they know that we the parents will be begged and pleaded with until we give in and the cycle continues. They crank out these movies based on toys with adult content and we will take our obsessed kids and buy them the matching toys which enforces that they were right all along. Don't believe me?... Wait for GI Joe that is soon to be released.

 Hi all,

Already saw "The Proposal"  cute movie but would hate to be Sandra Bulluck, the male lead has a better body!!  Pelham 123 was also good.  I just had gotten back from a weekend trip to NYC when we saw it and got to see many sites we had just seen.  "Away we go" is one of the worst movies I have seen, actors are good but the story/plot drags.  Star Trek was really great and I had only seen one of the previous one.

Heading to Daytona Beach over the 4th for the Races.  Anyone have any suggestions of things to do besides the race and the beach?  Staying at  Cove On Ormond and have not been there before.

Had not thought of St. George's Island in a long time, used to have a beach house there growing up but lost 3 of them to hurricanes so finally gave up rebuilding.  Good luck in a car with 3 kids for a long trip.  Hoping to make a car trip to Chicago and my friend is bring 2 of her kids with us to be dropped of at a grandparent before we go to a Cake Decorating Convention.  Looking forward to the convention but not the drive.
